To provide an education for the special needs children of Nebaj, Guatemala.
Mayan Hope was cofounded in 2005 by Don Langley and Colby Martin, who recognized that the special needs children of Nebaj were being overlooked by Guatemala's public school system. Today, the school helps nearly 30 students receive educations they would not otherwise have received, through the school's wonderful teachers (who are now supported by the public school system) and Mayan Hope's Board of Directors.
Mayan Hope's Board has recently begun a fundraising campaign in order to build a new school for its special needs students. We hope to begin construction later this year with your help!
